Paris Air Show Recap
Our partners at the Washington State Department of Commerce did an excellent job of capturing our state’s presence at the Paris Air Show.
It was an honor to join Governor Jay Inslee in announcing Twelve and its plans to scale production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) made from CO2 and renewable energy with a commercial-scale production facility in Moses Lake. In addition, ZeroAvia announced its plans to expand its electric propulsion R&D facility at Paine Field in Everett.
Greater Seattle Partners also participated in a side trip to Nantes, France to tour regional aerospace innovation park, as well as an off-shore wind farm and experimental hydrogen production facility off the coast of Pornichet.
Special thanks to Commerce for recognizing our own vice president of marketing & communications, Robert Payne for his contributions to the state winning best in show for the sustainable design of its new pavilion.
Our region continues to lead the world in developing new aerospace technologies to reduce our dependence on carbon-based fuels.
