Greater Seattle artificial intelligence startups received $679.4 million in 2025 (January – August 31), with the total lifetime funding of $1.5 billion. A deep dive into recent funding rounds reveals a vibrant ecosystem of innovation, with companies tackling everything from cybersecurity to autonomous vehicles supporting Seattle’s reputation as the nation’s second-biggest new AI job hotspot.
49 Greater Seattle AI companies received funding in 2025, (as of 8/31/25). The biggest funding rounds of the year highlight a mix of enterprise solutions, infrastructure, and specialized AI applications. These companies are pushing boundaries in legal tech (Supio), enterprise data (Centific Inc), and autonomous infrastructure (AIM and Overland AI).
Supio, tops the 2025 funding leaderboard; this Seattle-based startup raised a $60 million Series B round. Supio is revolutionizing legal research with an AI platform designed specifically for attorneys. Its technology helps legal professionals quickly surface crucial information, streamlining workflows and improving case outcomes. The size of this round showcases the growing demand for specialized AI tools in regulated industries.
Headquartered in Redmond, Centific Inc also secured $60 million. Centific focuses on enterprise-grade AI and analytics solutions, helping businesses harness data for smarter decision-making. Their platform spans database management, retail technology, and information systems, making them a key player in the digital transformation of traditional industries.
Bellevue-based AIM raised $50 million to scale its AI-powered earthmoving and infrastructure automation. AIM’s mission is to make large-scale construction and mining operations more efficient and sustainable through robotics and machine learning. Their technology is foundational to the future of smart cities and industrial automation.
Also raising $50 million is Icertis also raised a $50 million round. This Bellevue-based company is well known for its AI-powered contract management platform, which helps enterprises ensure compliance, reduce risk, and optimize procurement. Their funding round reflects continued investor confidence in AI solutions that enhance enterprise governance and operational efficiency.
Augmodo rounds out the top 5 with a $37 million round. Based in Seattle, Augmodo enables real-time tracking of products across retail stores.
