Greater Seattle Partners Promotes Yelena Kalashnikova to Senior Marketing Director

Greater Seattle Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Yelena Kalashnikova to Senior Marketing Director.

Over the past two years, Yelena has led the organization’s marketing strategy across public relations, social media, content development, and digital advertising, significantly expanding the visibility of the Greater Seattle region as a destination for global business and investment.

Laser-focused on marketing as part of our business attraction toolkit, Yelena led the redesign and expansion of content on the Greater Seattle Partners website, driving a 650% increase in digital engagement from early 2024 to 2025, and 80% increase in web leads across 2024 and 2025 compared to the previous two-year period.

Known for her deep understanding of the regional ecosystem, Yelena works closely with public and private sector partners to tell a cohesive and authentic story of regional economic growth. “Yelena’s deep expertise in digital marketing and lived experience in our region’s key sectors have elevated and transformed our approach to data-driven, human-centric storytelling as a recruiting tool.  I can’t wait to unleash Yelena’s potential as we scale these efforts in service of the region,” shares Rebecca Lovell, Interim President & CEO of GSP.

In her new role, Yelena will continue to expand media partnerships, supporting GSP’s targeted domestic and international recruiting efforts.
